“We actually started with another solar company, but they refused to answer a lot of my questions. So I had to do a lot of research and get the answers myself. When their engineer drew up the plans, it clearly wasn’t worth it. So I ended that and called RISS instead.
RISS answered my questions correctly (which I knew from doing research), so I trusted them. The other company wasn’t from Rhode Island, which made me realize it’s important to work with local people. Going solar can be a process, so it’s helpful to know I’m working with a company that’s going to stick around for the long run.
Larry and Mike answered my questions and took all of the “unknowns” away. They worked with us and gave good options. Whenever there was an issue, it was responded to and resolved within twenty four hours. And someone would come out to our house to rectify the situation personally. That’s huge!
It was a positive experience. Solar is a long process, with a lot of steps, but RISS kept it touch the whole way through. They had the most common sense approach. They didn’t fluff up the project with unnecessary fees or add-ons. Some people might want all of the bells and whistles, but we got exactly what we needed. They worked with us and gave us good options.
Being in the construction field, I know there are hiccups with projects all the time. What matters is that problems get fixed quickly, and RISS did that. Response time was phenomenal. They figured everything out and gave quality customer service. “Michael Riley, N. Kingstown, RI
