“We had wanted to go solar for a while, before Rhode Island came up with their incentives. But I didn’t make sense at the time to install because there wasn’t a significant return on investment. So as soon as these incentives rolled out, we were sure we wanted to move forward. My wife wanted to go solar so we could be green, and I wanted to go solar to save money, so it was a win-win for both.
We had priced out four or five different companies originally, but the one we decided to go with pulled out at the last moment. Then Rhode Island Solar Solutions stepped in and said, “You can work with us if you want to, but you still have the option to do whatever you want.”
The upfrontness and honesty of the team really stuck out. They went to battle for us. Every step of the way, they took care of everything. I didn’t have to make any phone calls to inspectors. All of the permitting was taken care of and, if there was a bump in the road, it got smoothed out. They made sure we had a great experience.
The personal customer service. Mike Staab said, “if you ever have a question, call me anytime.” Some of the other people we met with felt like typical salespeople, but RISS felt like they wanted to work with us and deliver a good product. Personal attention, great customer service, always kept us the loop during the whole process. They finished the project on-time and honored every promise they made to us. Whenever someone tells me they want to go solar, I say to them, “call these guys!”
RISS said they were going to help us, and they did. They delivered.
You save money. You do good for the environment. And it easy! There is no reason not to go solar in Rhode Island. All of the other companies we talked to felt pushy. But RISS felt honest right from the beginning.”Bradley Collins, Lincoln, RI
